BEGINNER FRENCH: 12 weeks, 90 minutes per class, Saturdays at 10 AM (online).

BEGINNER SPANISH: 12 weeks, 90 minutes per class, Saturdays at 2 PM (online).

No prior knowledge is required.
This class is also for you if you’ve used an app to learn but never truly had real conversations, studied French or Spanish but couldn’t comfortably speak, or were once conversational but haven’t spoken in a year or more. Reviewers welcome!

These extraordinary classes focus on pronunciation, foundational concepts (see below), exercises, and practice. You'll learn to speak or write your own sentences and receive corrections for the concepts studied. Audio and written materials are included. Conversation practice will begin when the basic concepts are learned. We’ll review along the way with targeted exercises to solidify your understanding. A computer and internet connection are required to attend the class. 

Why Learn the Concepts? 
Mastering French or Spanish concepts is your gateway to conversation. You cannot speak French or Spanish effectively without these foundations. We’ll start with the basics, such as introducing someone, asking questions, using articles like “the,” “a,” and “some,” prepositions, common French or Spanish expressions, and essential verbs. These concepts will enable you to say basic sentences with confidence.

In this fun and engaging class, you’ll develop the skills to learn a foreign language with ease, leading to self-expression, accuracy, and clear communication.
